This Monday, I sold a few companies from my stock holdings and yesterday, I wanted to buy back these companies. Little did I know, my brokerage created a pay out order yesterday so there were no funds to buy back these stocks.
I cannot buy a new stock as soon as I sell a stock, some money has to be in the ledger balance or the LIQUIDBEES. It takes weeks for opportunities to buy or sell stocks to appear. I cannot manage someone else's money when pay out orders are generated as that money goes to the bank account and I do not have access to mechanisms to send money from a client's bank account back into a brokerage.
I cannot even manage my parents money so all I can do is tie up all their funds in the NIFTYBEES while I self manage my funds as I can transfer pay outs from my bank account back into the brokerage.
